Kiyoaki Maruyma Kiyoaki Maruyama is Vice President of the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) and Director General of National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) in Japan. He joined the WARDA Board in March 2007. Dr. Maruyama is rice specialist with a PhD in Genetics from Tokyo University. He has worked as a rice breeder in various research institutions in Japan and as a Visiting Scientist at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). He has published extensively on hybrid rice breeding and is a member of many international professional societies. Contact details
